Anger management: The graduate course (15 CD Series).

This ACT manual is designed for teenagers, and introduces nine different proven techniques to better cope with chronic anger. The manual has two parts, understanding and coping with anger. To understand anger is to look at the anger of children, teens and adults, the purpose of anger, how to distinguish anger from aggression, knowing when personal anger is a problem and the causes of anger. Coping with anger involves understanding your own anger, empathy for others, self-talk, relaxation skills, sense of humor, communication skills, assertiveness skills, problem solving and the use of forgiveness (closing doors on the past).

This ACT manual is designed for persons of the Christian Faith, and introduces nine different proven techniques to better cope with chronic anger. The manual has two parts, understanding and coping with anger. To understand anger is to look at the anger of children, teens and adults, the wrath of God, anger of Jesus, anger and sin, anger and sanctification, the purpose of anger, how to distinguish anger from aggression, knowing when personal anger is a problem and the causes of anger. Coping with anger involves understanding your own anger, empathy for others, self-talk, relaxation skills, sense of humor, communication skills, assertiveness skills, problem solving and the use of forgiveness (closing doors on the past).

(Revised 1996). This ACT manual is designed for the therapist for use with all of the above ACT manuals. The manual summarizes research in anger management and then delineates twelve group therapy sessions to teach the nine different proven anger management techniques. The manual is designed to be practical with actual forms for the group sessions included within the manual.

(Three Audio Cassette Tapes, 1997). This live training of professionals was conducted in Honolulu, Hawaii. The training covered the following areas: Historical review on aggression, review of current anger research, assessment of anger, understanding anger, ten anger management coping skills and the ACT Treatment Program. The workshop was designed to be both practical and effective for therapists.

The listener will gain an understanding of this disorder that is seen as a coping skill for trauma. Treatment issues are addressed and case presentations utilized in the training.

This ACT manual is designed for the psychiatric in-patient population (specifically forensic patients but has been used with overall psychiatric in-patient populations), and introduces nine different proven techniques to better cope with chronic anger. (1 hour 25 minute Audio Cassette, 1996). This two part taped live workshop is presented from a Christian perspective. Participants are given practical techniques to find healing from past trauma, such as sexual abuse. Participants are then challenged to take responsibility for their lives and move forward, unhindered into the future.

(Audio Cassette produced by Mary Lowe, 1994). Audio tape produced to help both the terminally ill and their families. The tape involves beautiful songs, poetry and inspirational text.

(47 Minute Audio Cassette, 1995). This taped live lecture is based on the Biblical person of Joseph. It challenges youth and anyone youthful to take a stand for one's values and future. The lecture gives practical guidelines to stand for what is right, your dreams, when others conspire against you, when all seems lost, when you are blessed, when your are tempted, when forgotten and in forgiveness.

(Two Audio Cassettes, 1997) This taped live sermon series is a challenge to evaluate our churches as either a place of healing or display. Practical guidelines for our churches to be more of a "Hospital for Sinners."

(36 page Booklet, 1994). This booklet summarized the research on the controversial phenomenon of Sadistic Ritual Abuse, also called Satanic Ritual Abuse. The booklet addresses the levels of Satanism, The SRA controversy, False Memory Syndrome, and the ritual abuse of children and adults, including therapeutic issues.

(Set of Two Audio Cassettes, 2hours 26 minutes, 1995). This taped live workshop was designed to help professionals in understanding the condition and treatment issues pertaining to SRA, (Also known as Satanic Ritual Abuse). Case presentation and interaction were integrated into the workshop.

(30 Minute Audio Cassette & 13 page Booklet, 1994). This Christian based tape and booklet challenges parents and church leaders that Satanism as a religion doesn't have only one holy day. The reader is introduced to the history, symbols and dangers of Halloween, description of Satan, levels of Satanism, sadistic ritual abuse, research on ritual abuse of children and adults and the churches response to Satanism.

(Set of Three Audio Cassettes, 4 hrs. 26 minutes, 1995). This taped live workshop was designed for those who work with survivors of trauma; helping them to understand the process of memory- including the controversy of False Memory Syndrome(FMS). A treatment model for survivors of trauma is presented that includes 20 precautions to help prevent allegations of FMS.
